EXPLORING FERNANDO DE NORONHA

Fernando de Noronha is an isolated archipelago of volcanic islands 220 miles off the Brazilian coast. Considered one of the most beautiful islands in the world and a Natural World Heritage Site by Unesco, it is a paradisiac destination for summer. Its crystal clear waters, pearly white beaches and marine life will for sure be marked in your memory. Horseback riding, driving dune buggies, hiking, kayaking and cruising are some of the activities you can do in this special place.

Eyewear Club recommends the beaches Baía do Sancho for a breathtaking view, Baía dos Porcos and Praia da Atalaia for snorkeling and appreciating the immense marine life diversity and Praia do Cachorro for relaxing, having drinks and, obviously, enjoying one more unforgettable landscape.

When it comes to food, Eyewear Club recommends Mergulhão for a great lunch with breathtaking view. Apart from its delicious food, Mergulhão is half restaurant and half lounge, where you can enjoy the view with refreshing drinks. If you are looking for drinks and “petiscos”, Brazilian tapas, Cacimba Bistrô is the place to be. For the seafood lovers, Casa Salviano prepares customized Japanese food depending on the customer’s taste, with its locally caught fishes. If you are already thinking about visiting Fernando de Noronha, make sure you plan it with enough time in advance, since the island has limited number of visitors per day!
